Charles Brink, JD


Mr. Brink has over 30 years of experience in the successful organization and operational management of a number of high-tech startups. Mr. Brink was a Founder, Member of the Board, Chief Operating Officer and later General Counsel for Mona Vie, Inc. (“Mona Vie”) the fastest growing private company in the food and beverage industry incorporated in 2003.  Mr. Brink is an attorney in the State of Idaho. He received his B.A. degree from Florida Atlantic University, graduating Cum Laude and his JD degree from Gonzaga University, College of Law.

Richard Baron


Richard Baron has over 35 years of experience in the medical device, managed care, pharmaceutical, medical technology and biotechnology industries. He has extensive experience taking companies public as a chief financial officer (Animas Corporation NASDAQ: PUMP, Globus Medical, NYSE: GMED and Zynerba Pharmaceuticals, NASDAQ: ZYNE) in addition to completing acquisitions, financings and sales transactions.  Mr. Baron obtained his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and has been a Certified Public Accountant.

Al Foreman, JD, MBA


Al Foreman has over 18 years of experience in private equity, corporate finance, and financial technology.  Mr. Foreman is currently a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of Tuatara Capital and is responsible for Tuatara’s macro investment strategy and for the structuring and execution of investments.   Al has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut, a J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and an MBA from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.

Frank Maione


Frank Maione has over 40 yrs. of experience and knowledge in the consumer package goods industry, with considerable expertise in sales, marketing and logistics. Mr. Maione served as president and chief customer officer at Johnson and Johnson Consumer Sales and Logistic, USA, after the company acquired Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. At Pfizer, Mr. Maione was vice president of sales, where he moved the company from sixth to first position in consumer sales. Frank has board seat experience at several startups as well as industry experience sitting on the advisory boards of the NACDS, GMDC and GMA Associations. Frank received his B.S. in Business Administration from California Coast University E Program.

Mark Riiska


Mr. Riiska has over 21 years of financial and Wall Street experience. His areas of professional experience include venture capital/private equity, fundraising, investor relations and alternative investment fund administration. Mark is currently a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Tuatara Capital.  Mark received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut.

Francisco J. Sánchez, JD


Francisco J. Sánchez has a long and distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Sánchez served as undersecretary for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce until 2013 after being personally appointed to the position by President Barack Obama in 2009. During the Clinton Administration, he served as the assistant secretary for Aviation and International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, and he previously served in the White House as a special assistant to President Clinton and chief of staff to the Special Envoy to the Americas. He is a member of the board of directors of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. Mr. Sánchez obtained his B.A. and J.D. from Florida State University and received a Master’s in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
